“Where’s My Zune?!”

So yesterday was the last day to enter the Microsoft Zune giveaway. Many thanks go out to each of you who entered. It was a really fun experiment, I came across a wide number of terrific blogs, and it was great reading some of the posts that were written about this infamous Zune. I’ll be spending some time this weekend double checking the entries to make sure I’ve got everybody in the hat, writing the announcement/update post for Monday, and hopefully getting some sleep.
In addition to announcing the winner of the drawing, I’ll be letting everyone know how this particular contest affected my blog standings, why I recommend the winner to continue this Zune’s quest to travel completely around the world, and I’ll also be announcing another juicy contest. Hold onto your seats, everybody — I think it’s about to get exciting!

I wonder how long it will take the winner to “contest” off their Zune Microsoft really made a stupid move by trying to copy the iPod but then again Apple was always the better innovator, MSFT is just a good copier and marketer (back then).

I think if I won I would likely keep the Zune – think of all the SEO podcasts I could fit on that thing! Plus I broke my iPod a few weeks ago, and it’s amazing how difficult life has become as a result. I am planning a contest as well, so I look forward to seeing how yours has helped your blog standings!
I cannot believe I missed the zune contest by one day. You see, you take a few days off and don’t get online and you miss things like this. I gave my son my ipod, so getting a zune would have been very helpful.

i can’t wait to see who wins either! i keep reading that so many people have either given away their mp3s to loved ones (aww..so sweet!), seen them on their death beds (*ahem!* anand…), or that canada doesn’t sell the zune (sorry, canada). if microsoft did a promotion to give away one zune a week to bloggers who posted about the product, they’d have WAY more publicity for it, and more likely, more sales. just a thought… what do you think?

Hey, I cant wait to see who wins either (**hopefully me!**). I wouldn’t mind keeping the Zune because believe it or not…wait for it.. I don’t even have an mp3 player.. I have a CD player!
- @ TheAnand – I know how you feel. I have received 4-5 chinese mp4 players (as they call them) so that I could review them for my blog and they seem to last 2 years but for the price, they are quite good.
