The Rundown on The Boiling Crab
Aug 15th, 2007 by msdanielle
OK so it looks like Gary won’t be posting on The Boiling Crab since the discussion has already taken off here. So, without further ado, here’s the list of stuff we ordered last night…and the evidence that we really ate it. LOL
What we ordered:
- 3 Whole Dungeness Crabs in The Whole Sha-Bang
- 1 lb. Shrimp in The Whole Sha-Bang
- 1/2 Dozen Hot Wings
- 1/2 Dozen Oysters on the Half Shell
- Fried Catfish with Cajun Fries
- Hot Links and Corn on the Cob
The evidence:

The pictures are kind of fuzzy since they were taken on Gary’s iPhone in not-so-great lighting. But you get the idea. The plastic bags had the shrimp, crab, corn, and sausage in them. We went through half a roll of paper towels as well. Ahh…fun for the whole family!

yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
invite me next time…
okaaaaaaaay we’ll take you next time you’re in LA
I haven’t been in LA since I was 7 years old… so… 14 years? yeah.
Nothing more addicting that that crab fishing show on TV.
Not sure how I feel about food that requires a hammer to eat though…
i’ve never seen that show. i feel like i’m missing out! you don’t eat crab though? it’s so fun breaking the shell and trying not to hit your food buddies with crab shrapnel
I love hot wings, I could probably eat them forever. I am however very particular about which wings will be eaten, certain restaurants and bars have better ones than others. I also agree with Natron, “The Deadliest Catch” is one of the greatest shows out there.
i would love to see you and gary to head to head on hot wings. LOL
OMG this looks like heaven!
i’m telling you hone, next time you’re out here we’re gonna do a food tour. and if i make it out to melbourne, you’ll need to show me your favorite seafood joint!
yummmmyyy……… i love crabs hehe.
i love that place….but i bet ur hands smelled like crab for five days no matter how hard u tried cleanin them…..better than the boilin crab is cajun corner on brookhurst and mcfadden
hmmm we’ll definitely have to hit that up. you, me, and funk
