Site Update: Misty 3.2 Released

Some of you who’ve seen my blog probably already noticed my fuzzy-faced banner is gone. And my theme looks different. Well Misty 3.2 was released today so I decided to update the site. There were numerous bugs in the last version I was using (Reloaded Mistylook 1.0). If you’re using RM 1.0, this one should have a lot of fixes that will help improve the look of your site. When I saw that Sadish posted the new theme, I was on it like white on rice! Here’s a screen shot of the dead and buried msdanielle.com v1.0:
The thing I love most about Wordpress, which is probably its biggest pitch, is the super duper easy ability to update. If you’re still planning your blog site, and you’re hesitant about installing Wordpress, let me tell you that I installed this new theme in literally 5 minutes. It’s super easy!

I still haven’t updated my WP install to 2.1.2. I’m so afraid I’ll lose everything I’ve customized! Maybe when I get back from my vacation I’ll give it a shot. Wanna hold my hand through it?

i actually made a step-by-step list (that i’ll have to dig up) when i upgraded. do you believe i uploaded my site one day before WP announced the upgrade?! haha… crash course for me in uploading AND upgrading WP 
How many customizations have you made the WordPress core? I have hacked the hell out my my theme, but have only made a few changes to the core.
the only customizations i made were the font type and color, and the background color. oh and i cheated the banner, if u view the background image, grab it and look at it in photoshop you’ll see what i mean. there’s a bug in the custom header feature. if you know how to fix that please let me know!!

Reloaded MistyLook was not done by me. It is a quick dirty copy of someone taking my theme and modifying it.

It does look really good. I just installed it for one of my clients and I think they’re going to be really happy with the results.
