hey everyone, derek has a great point. if you share articles, do you prefer to just click on the button on the page, or go thru a widget like sharethis, or addthis?
i was thinking that as well… like it’s more of an aesthetics thing for me. i don’t like how all the little buttons look all crammed together. but as we all know, adding just one more “action” can keep someone from “converting” more on that later…

For those using this plugin, do you have any ideas on how often readers actually click through to share a post? It seems like this adds an extra layer of clicking for the user and I am wondering that deters more people.

Personally, I don’t like the way the Add This button looks… Also, the Share This has more options for the visitor – to each their own!

i’ve been reading your blog… must be pretty good because i don’t generally read a lot of blogs.

I personally use AddThis and though I like it, it doesn't have the email function ShareThis does. I wonder if there's a seperate plugin I can find for sharing by email...
