Quite Possibly the Funniest Review on Amazon

OK so it’s been a couple weeks since I’ve posted here on my little part of the blogosphere. Hopefully you all understand that I’ve been busy with projects…yadda yadda yadda…right? Well, tonight I took a break to do something that I’ve been dreading and putting off for a few days. I’m searching for a new vacuum cleaner.

While I don’t shop Amazon very often, or read that many reviews, this is by far the funniest one I’ve ever come across. A tragedy of sorts for this poor guy who must begrudgingly drag his hated Electrolux EL 6989A around the living room floor. I had to post this. If any of you become frustrated with your work, take a moment to break and read this review again, and remind yourself that whatever you’re doing, you don’t hate it as much as “drew_m” of Maryland hates his vacuum cleaner.

CLICK HERE to read the hilarious review, “I Hate This Vacuum.”

By the way, if any of you have any input as to which vacuum cleaner you think I should go with, feel free to pipe in!

Enjoy the review! [Thanks drew_m for the comic relief!]

Welcome back, Danielle. I was about to put out a search party for you. It’s been weeks since we’ve had any Flashback Friday or update on Binky. I hope all’s well for both of you :)

That is classic and the best part is that I can truly appreciate his despise for that vacuum.

FWIW, if you’re looking for a new vacuum, we now have one of the Dyson vacuums and have been very happy with it. They’re not exactly cheap but it works well.

ok here is my issue with dyson. i know it’s supposed to be a power horse of a machine, but how does it fare when you’re trying to get under and around furniture, and in corners and stuff? are the attachments sufficient, or does the bulk sacrifice detail? im thinking of going with a canister vac…
btw, how’s the new site coming along? :D

The model we have probably isn’t the best for that but I believe there new models based on the swivel ball would work better - not really sure though. The new site is just about done, just making a few tweaks to the logo.

That is seriously one of the funniest reviews I have ever read (and unlike my usual ADD-addled internet browsing, I actually read the whole thing from start to finish). Not to mention the fact that it’s actually quite well-written. Makes me glad I don’t own a vacuum… :D
