MsDanielle Turns Thirty: A Birthday Retrospective

Tomorrow I’m turning thirty. Yep, the big 3-0… Woohoo! 
I made it. Not to sound morbid, but when I was in high school, I didn’t think I’d ever live past thirty. Why? Because it seemed so freakin old! As if thirty was the end-all be-all fun killer. I couldn’t foresee how life would be anything interesting after thirty. Of course, this was the thinking of a seventeen-year old. But now that I’m actually here, I’m embracing life, confident with my place in the world, and would never trade my experiences for being back in high school again! I’m a liberated woman!!
I took a trip down memory lane a few days ago, going through hundreds of pictures, and one thing immediately hit me. I’m out of shape! I grew up playing ten years of soccer, as well as gymnastics. One goal I have is to get back into shape. Another goal I have is to take up golf because I think that’s what old people do. And I already have two girlfriends that are going to take it up with me!
Come and take a trip down memory lane with me and meet some of the amazing people who’ve been a major part of my life. They’ve left an indelible impression on me and I’m grateful for their friendship and love. This is my tribute to them. Enjoy!
If I left anyone out, it’s because I couldn’t find any awesome pictures of us together. I’ll try to add more as I find them… Love you guys! Looking forward to many more decades of friendship together. xoxoxoxo
Update (4/30): I included the nifty table above for the pictures because Gary said the way I had it before looked wack. I also added a few more picture.

Oh yeah, I’ll be playing later today… I play at least once a week and would play more if I had the time. Would love to hear how it goes.

Golf is very dangerous, you can do your back in or get hit by lightning, I would suggest a weekly game of bridge may suit you new pace of life, also, you need to drop the independent woman thing and focus on settling down, starting a family, DIY jobs, that sort of thing HHHahaa!
Sorry, Im only teasing, I am a couple of years older than you, its a good age, have done a lot more in the past few years than I ever did when I was younger….
