Woohooooooooooooooo!
I just got some great news — I won the Nintendo Wii from Darin Carter’s giveaway contest! I’m so excited, I don’t know what to think. If you guys were me, would you contest it away like I did with the Zune, or would you keep it? Leave me your thoughts. Hope you all had a great weekend!

Hmm … I guess it depends on what you want to do with the next few months of your life. Wii games are incredibly fun and addictive. If you do decide to keep it, please rembember to keep your loyal fans up to date every once in a while

If I were you, I’d keep it and use the Wii as part of an exercise regimen. But I’m not you and I hope you do contest it away to help your blog’s popularity. The Wii is a bigger prize so if you got a lot of traffic from your Zune contest then you should get more from a Wii contest.

Jax is right. I haven’t had that good a workout since college. The first time I played a Wii, I think I lost 10 lbs in like 5 hours. Anyway, congrats Danielle!!!
You’re not kidding. I stopped at a neighbors one night and we fought each other in the boxing game. That thing was a great workout and made me realize I should be down in my basement hitting the heavy bag more often.
Congrats on the prize Danielle. Our kids have been saying that want a Wii for Christmas so you could just sell it to me.

You definitely have the mojo working! First the Zune and now this. You should keep it, if it’s something you want. Other wise you could reprize (kind of like regifting) and give it away again.

Congrats, Ms. D! And I dont’ quite understand your question. Heck, for that matter, I don’t quite understand why you’re spending even 30 seconds blogging about this, rather than hooking that sucker up and playing Super Mario Strikers against me online!
But seriously, the Wii is a ton of fun. Even non-video game folks can easily get addicted. If you have no real desire to ever play, then yeah, give it away in a contest or swap it for something. But if you need to veg every now and then, I say keep it. You’ve earned it so enjoy it! And while there are only a few online games available at the moment (with lots more coming up), it’s insanely easy to hook up and play against some 9 year old who’ll kick your butt in 10 seconds…

Hmmm, never played one but I’d like to because I’ve heard that they are a ton of fun. Because of that, I think I would keep it. On the other hand, I don’t really have much time for the gaming consoles that I do have so giving it away again would be a good way to boost rankings.
