How Do You Celebrate 31?

Today I turn 31. Yep, it’s been a whole year since I joined the club. Thirty was a pretty milestone year for me (for many reasons too long to list), but there’s not much about 31 that screams “milestone.” It’s sort of “30 again” in my opinion. The crazy thing is knowing the next huge milestone is 40. Yikes! How would (or did) you celebrate 31?

Hate to say this and seem spammy (but you asked)

I celebrated my 29th on Friday with a bl0g contest. I know cheap advertisement. But you asked how we celebrated. I guess I’ll find out in 2010.

I think (now that i’m 29) since you’re talking about Ms. Danielle the 31 yr. old the term Beautiful would be better than “hot”.

Happy Birthday Danielle. I’m not quite 31 yet - getting there. I wouldn’t do anything out of the ordinary. A birthday is a birthday in my book! Happy BDAY!

thank you Ryan! you’re right…a birthday is a birthday. actually, planning your own birthday kinda sucks too (i’m over that for now…) so i think picking something YOU want to do for fun and sharing it with your friends is the best way to celebrate your birthday!

I have not done it because I’m not 31 yet. So that means I have had 28 cups straight at a bootleg icecream parlor called “28 Flavors”. I am already planning my 61st.

Happy Birthday, Danielle.

Like others, I have to say I thought you were much younger. Good for you! :) With that in mind, I’d celebrate like I was 21 and nobody will know the difference.

My birthday is mid summer, I am often on holiday somewhere nice, but no matter where I am in the world it always ends in a complete bender ;-)

Dang, you’re gettin old! ;)

When I turned 30, my wife threw a big surprise bash for me that I have trouble remembering. But 31 came and went without much fanfare, just a simple day with my family. As did 32 and this year I face 33.

Happy birthday Danielle!

i guess being unmarried means no one plans surprise parties for you huh? darn… i predict 32 and 33 will probably be somewhat quiet for me too…

Happy birthday (belated)!! It really depends on how you see your age means to you. Ever since the first day I joined the Internet industry, it has been an fast-changing experience every day! I enjoy getting more experience everyday, and by embracing and adapting to changes keep me forever young (at least my excitment towards anything new about the Internet)! But anyway, enjoy being 31!
