Happy Father’s Day to All You Dads Out There
Jun 17th, 2007 by msdanielle
Today is Father’s Day here in the US, and I wanted to say Happy Father’s Day to my Dad and my late Grandfathers. Happy Father’s Day to all you Dads out there, too! My fondest memories of my Dad were driving in his car with him as a little girl and listening to Motown. No matter what, he had to have his Motown fix. Hearing Stevie Wonder or the Jackson 5 to this day brings back wonderful memories. What were your favorite childhood memories of your Dad, or as a Dad now? I think it’s those little moments that count the most.

Thanks! I think I need a nap now.
One fond memory I have growing up is eating sunflower seeds with my dad. I never mentioned this to my wife or kids, but coincidentally, my kids got me a big bucket of sunflower seeds today. Maybe I can give them fond memories of the same.
Happy Fathers Day to ME. My little girl is 11 days old.
If anyone still wants to get out an E-card go to my BLOG. It’s linked to my name here.
Watching him dress up with a kilt and sporran (he’s Scottish), dancing around the room with my mum.
Don’t forget about the fathers to be…
Re: favorite childhood memories of your Dad
My father once took us all out camping for Fathers day weekend, we didn’t go camping too much before since we where all too small. I can’t remember the weekend at all besides this one point when we took a family picture. I never seen him happier then he was in that picture.
Ever since that weekend we go camping every chance we get, it changed my life and made us a lot closer to each other. I been camping every fathers day for 12 years now.
I love my father, I love fathers day… we just got back from camping.
My dad once took me to the zoo on the trains in Chicago. I remember who scared I was. I got lost at the zoo that day. Three months later I got lost at the airport too. My dad found me.
wow thanks everyone for sharing your memories. it is those momentary glimpses of the past that are burned into our minds forever.
