Friday Funny - For Geeks!

I was on Digital Point Forums last night and I came across a post that made me literally laugh out loud. Thought I’d share it all with you. It’s in regards to AdBrite, one of the larger third-party ad networks.

If you find this funny, then you’re a geek too! :D

I haven’t been going to that forum much lately. I now just use it for buying links and sites. I think people forget that its a public forum, not a support forum for a specific application

On a side note have you ever been to www.fuckedcompany.com or www.pud.com ? They are from the owner of adbrite, on a side note to the side note, he is a great death metal drummer.

pud owns fuckedcompany? i didn’t know that. hmmm… now i’m going to look into it a little closer. ya people ask the funniest questions on there, and i think to myself, “don’t you have a rep that can answer this?” lol

i have a small announcement i think i might make soon about adbrite, but i want to be sure i’m not violating any disclosure agreements… more to come… :D

side note to your side-side note: i wanted to be a heavy metal drummer in 8th grade until a good friend of mine told me the best way to do so would be to join the high school band. i didn’t join but i kind of wish i did now. then again, looking back, the uniforms were pretty horrible.

to natron…
the thrill is over… lol
i was invited into the adbrite “inner circle” but i can’t talk about it, so there goes my post! hahaha!! i’d be breaking some “disclosure agreement”… ;)
but i’ll prob be posting my progress in becoming an adbrite publisher, as i’ve only used adbrite from an advertiser standpoint. should be interesting. i’m always interested in trying stuff just to know what the experience was all about. life is about experiences, right??

Something you did for your job?

There seems to be some revenue in Adbrite, but I have seen it with a lower quality and many times more “adult” in nature. They have also been known to slow down page loads.

I still follow them as I think they will be a viable publishing source in the near future.

This is one of those things that just makes you shake your head because you can barely believe someone said it…

Wow, good job with your site. People love you! Your Alexa traffic rating is better than mine and my site has been up longer lol. I’m jealous.
