Friday Funny - For Animal Lovers!

Some of you already know that I’m an animal lover, and may have even read the story of Binky. Well, I rescued a hamster a few years ago from a friend who didn’t give it the happiest life (you know who you are!). 
I took these pictures of the little thief in my bathroom. You can click the pictures to enlarge them. Enjoy!
The proper way to steal a toothbrush if you’re a hamster:

pretty much
whenever i put him on the counter to run around, he went straight for my toothbrush! i think he liked chewing on the rubber part of the handle in the middle. it was pretty funny!
I didn’t know you had a hamster!! Is that a Russian Dwarf? We had a few of those… they’re so cute!
well i “had” a hamster. he passed away a couple years ago
he was super cute. but mean bc someone used to poke him with a chopstick to irritate him. i don’t blame the little guy… i tried to give him a happy life. i bought a big storage bin from target and cut out a hole in the top so i could pet him and feed him 
it was a pretty awesome pad that he was shacked up in.
i’m not going to name any names, but let’s just say it was sam’s roommate’s hamster, and it’s not jason, jimmy or richard

I have the same problem with gnomes stealing my underwear.
whoa.. he would need to be real fast if he’s my hamster.

your comment reminds me of a guy friend of mine from college. every quarter you have like a certain amount of time to register for classes, and if you don’t get the ones you want, you have to wait until “adjustment period” when everyone shifts around their classes after registration. well, he used to refer to adjusting himself as “adjustment period” which was hella funny bc it was one of those lame college inside jokes… ok guess you had to be there…

Yeh I totally realized I’d goofed and called the hamster Binky after I made the comment, but I figured it was too late to do anything about it then..lol.
Eventually I’ll probably introduce more characters into my strip. Perhaps I can come up with a rabbit character. I’m thinking the little blue alien needs a friend to hang out with

I love finding animal stories like this online. I often wonder what is in their minds that makes them do certain things like stealing a toothbrush, but not the makeup brushes. Very Cute!
