Free Webmaster Tools from iWebtool

I’m definitely not anything close to being a webmaster. In fact, if someone paid me right now for being their site webmaster, I’d feel really bad for them. But, I am MsDanielle.com’s webmaster, because this here’s a one-woman-show! ;) In this case, I do need a few tools to check some of my stats, and see how my site is doing in the world wide web.

picture-27.pngOccasionally, I use some of the tools on iWebtool.com because they’re all on one page, they’re really easy to use, and they’re free. I figured if you’re reading this post, there’s a good chance you have a blog too, so these tools could be useful for you. For instance, I started my blog about 3 weeks ago, so of course it’s a PR0. I checked the PR Prediction today and it’s a predicted PR4. Not bad, eh?? :) I hope it’s very accurate! Otherwise I’ll look like a jerk for posting that it’ll be a PR4…

You can check your back links, Alexa stats and comparisons, see a spider view (what your site looks like to spider bots), and so on and so forth. They even have an online calculator. (I guess for those times when I can’t get to my “Dashboard” quickly enough!) I’m sure it’s not the most extensive list of webmaster tools, but I think it’s pretty convenient. And for newbie “webmasters” like myself, it’s a starting point. I hope you can find these tools useful as well. Happy blogging…

I’ve wondered about this tool compared to say, Analytics. I suppose it can’t hurt to try it out. It does have a few features not available from Google actually unless I can’t find them. You still have to combine Webmaster Tools and Analytics to get the information those tools seem to have.

How is the PR predictor treating you? The last few times I checked it said (0)–Warning!….I thought I was going to have to use the Google Ban Checker.

I got 3.7 about 3 days ago, and I checked again today and was like HUH?! 0! BUT I double-checked it, and it was 3.9. (Of course, I freaked out first and used the Ban Checker! LOL! I mean, it was right there…) ;)
I’ve experienced this with some of the other page rank checkers too…getting a 0. Not sure why that happens though.
But yea, Analytics rocks. I still want to write a post on that as well. I don’t know how the two compare though (I should know that). Anyone want to chime in to Jimi’s questions?

This does look like a pretty cool resource to add to the list of tools for checking on stats. Hopefully that PR predictor is pretty accurate as my finance blog is predicted to go from a PR3 now to a PR5. Too bad my narcissistic blog is still so new as it is not predicting anything for PR.

Good find! Man I’m predicted at PR0 … a lot of sites don’t treat my .ca domain name very well :(

Oh nevermind, I tried it a few more times after reading your comment above, it worked the fifth time – PR 5!

Great and informative site. Wonderful stuff and just to the point…like a normal person should be. Time is too fast to be running down nonsense with each other. This is great Ms. Danielle. Love the tips! iwebtool has helped me big time this month!

Have a good one, cheers my new cronie ….
