Flashback Friday Volume 9
Aug 31st, 2007 by msdanielle
As opposed to last week’s edition of Flashback Friday, I thought today I’d revisit some characters from my past. That is, TV characters that I grew up with. If you were a child of the 80s, I’m hoping you’ll be able to guess these pretty quick. So, here we go, let’s see who gets them all first!
Name That TV Character (and the Show that Made them Famous!)

What were your favorite TV shows growing up? I left out so many but I’m sure you guys will fill in all the gaps!
How Good Are You? A Random Quiz.
It’s been awhile since I posted a quiz, probably because it’s been awhile since I saw TaylorBlue around, and I saw her stop by the other day, which in turn reminded me to do a quiz.
Hi Taylor! Anyway, I saw this one called “How Good Are You?” on BlogThings. Naturally, I was curious what they wanted to know what I was good at. But their description of the quiz is “Are you going to heaven or are you headed straight to hell? Find out if you’re truly a good person.” Awesome. I already know where I’m going, but let’s see how good they are in predicting it correctly. ![]()
You Are 64% Good |
![]() You are a good person. You do the best you can to be ethical, fair, and moral. And as you know, being a good person means making hard decisions… and following them through. If you’re confronted with an ethical dilemma, you will usually do the right thing. Of course you do slip up. No one’s perfect. But you do your best to correct your missteps. You are also probably: incredibly honest, especially with yourselfRight now you are on track to being: A respected leaderTo be a better person: Be kind to someone who is not very kind to you |
Hmmm… Maybe I’m not going to hell after all! I am honest to a fault, and I guess I have room to be kinder to meanies — it’s the compassionate thing to do… Funny how the picture is like an angel with some fierce attitude. LOL I can live with that. So, how good are you? Happy Friday, everyone!

Isn’t #6 Janet from Three’s Company? It took me a minute….lol
Wonder Years and Family Matters. Why dont they make great shows like this anymore??
i was thinking the same thing last night. i almost added theo from the cosby show but that would’ve been an odd number of pictures.
anyway i miss shows like the wonder years. what an amazing show! they should syndicate it at after-school hours. it’s the media’s fault. instead they play courtroom shows and jerry springer. who gives a flying crap why your baby’s daddy’s new girlfriend slept with him in your house?!
@roberta - yep, that’s janet
Well, the ones I knew are already filled in.

***You Are 64% Good***
You are a good person.
You are also probably: incredibly honest, especially with yourself
Right now you are on track to being: A respected leader
To be a better person: Be kind to someone who is not very kind to you
* i guess i’ll be kind to you now D*
1. Kevin Arnold/Paul Pfeiffer - The Wonder Years
2. Punky Brewster - Punky Brewster

5. Scott Baio - Charles in Charge (Although he was famous in Happy Days first)
6. Janet - Three’s Company
7. Steven Urkel - Family Matters

See I remembered all the shows, lol, but not the characters names, you’re good!
Love the post Ms. Danielle - I loved all of these shows, I still see Wonder Years but I don’t recall what channel. Great shows, I miss them.
Full House was great too - Bob Saget is a riot as a comedian.
yes, awesome! a lot of people forgot to mention murdoch’s name. and is that how you spell balki’s last name? amazing… he was from the island of…?
I’d like to change my answer for number 5, I had a bit of a brain cramp. Scott Baio is the actor, the character should have been Charles and of course the show was Charles in Charge.
Sad but I only knew Steve Urkel from Family Matters and thats because Ive seen the re-runs! I took the quiz and came up with 84% so I think thats pretty good
