Flashback Friday Volume 16

It’s back baby…and with big billowy hair! That’s right…an 80’s hair metal, super glam, sing-along-at-the-top-of-my-lungs monster ballad. This one nearly made it to the top of the pop charts in its heyday, and I remember it as if it was yesterday. Back when I sported ripped jeans and concert t-shirts, and later, flannel. Yep, that’s right… What were you wearing in 1989?
There was another version of this song that I can’t find, but if I recall it was a toned-down acoustic version. Do you guys remember it? Probably on the B side…I preferred the acoustic version. I’m sure I’ve got it buried somewhere in my stored-away box of cassettes, tucked in tightly with Motley Crue, Tesla, Metallica, Poison and GnR. In 89 I was wearing a Poison or Bon Jovi or Kiss t-shirt and a mini-skirt. That was my daily “uniform”.

Yeah I only have one Skid Row t-shirt from the 80s for “sentimental” reasons, and all my other shirts have been thrown out. Oh well:( I did go to Blogworld, but didn’t see you either. I didn’t spend too much time walking around it, and basically just went to the seminars.
ahhh…sebastian bach… i have his autograph somewhere on a napkin… too bad i didn’t get to catch up with you at BWE. next time!

thanks, the networking aspect of blogging is what i really love. i’ve met some of the most talented people through blogging and online networking. i think that is definitely a positive career enhancement
