Flashback Friday Volume 10
Oct 5th, 2007 by msdanielle
This is the tenth installment of my Flashback Friday series. Woohoo! This week I thought I’d keep it simple, and bring it back to the one thing that I love even more than food (yes, I said it) — music.
This video is a great ballad, and although some of you might think it’s cheesy, I really don’t care. Feel free to sing along, since I know you’ll want to.
It’s my favorite song by this band, by far. I missed their tour this year but next time they come to town, my friend Tony says he’ll take me and I have to wear a Harley t-shirt, leather pants, and a big ol’ permed blond wig, which should be more fun than I can imagine!
God, how I miss the days of glamorous, cheesy, over-the-top rock ‘n roll…
Enjoy…and Happy Friday!

Aww, I love me some Journey
Lights is awesome…
yea that opening line gets me… plus i LOVE san francisco
totally not my thing! bring back micheal!!
lol sorry i can’t take requests for my flashback friday
jk
Maybe I’m wrong, but I think mostly women enjoy this kind of music. It’s just to cheesy for blokes.
There is nothing cheesy about Journey!
Oh come on! Just look at their hair!
didn’t everyone’s hair look like that back then?
Hmm luuuuuvely. I think it’s about time for a 90’s revival. Anyone agree?
I hate to admit it but i LOVE journey. A favourite song of mine is `Don`t Stop Believing` and it often gets a run while i`m getting ready. Journey are massive here in Japan due to the karaoke culture, i oftne belt this one out and the locals love it!

What part of Japan enjoys Journey? Every time I’ve tried a rendition of Don’t Stop Believing or Only the Young I get blank stares
LOL HAHAHAHAH
this part of japan loves journey!!
Jason, i have no problems with it where i go, Nakano-Sakaue, Kitte Shinjuku, Yoyogi, Sangubashi …. but i am going to small shop bars that i frequent anyway so regardless of what i’m signing i get a +++ response.
Ah, that’s just a bit out of the way for karaoke. I’m sure that Reiko and I will make it out that way at some point in the future, so we’ll be sure to stop and sing a few tunes
As much as I probably shouldn’t admit this, I would like to see Journey in concert. Yeah, they are generally more liked by gals than guys, but guys can like them too!
a real man can admit to liking journey. rock on nick!
