msdanielle - just another ego blog site

OK so I’m very proud of myself today. This is the first blog that I put together all by myself - with some help from my buddy Gary Lee. Basically for the next couple weeks I’ll be giving updates on how the blog is doing, what features I’m implementing, and so on. I thought I’d post a screen shot of what the blog looked like from the very beginning. So here you go:

Pretty ugly, right? Well this is only Day 1 of my ego blog. Think I can take out JohnChow or Darren Rowse in the next 6 months? Hehe… I know, pretty ambitious. But hey, gotta think big if you ever want to make something out of yourself. We can all find out together if this blog actually goes anywhere.

Oh and if you’re wondering why I’ve called this my ego blog, it’s because I’ve realized that most of the really big bloggers out there like to talk about themselves - they talk about their specialties, give advice about their personal experiences and lessons learned, and share it with other bloggers. The ego blog usually ties into a larger network of sites that sort of revolve around the ego. And of course, most obviously, the blog domain usually has the blogger’s name in it.
