The Details
Next month, bloggers and internet broadcasters of all types will be meeting for three days in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the BlogWorld & New Media Expo to talk about how blogging is changing the way we consume information, SEO best practices, the ways in which we can leverage our voices, and also how we can profit from blogging, among other topics. Scheduled speakers include Mike Arrington, Brian Clark, Arianna Huffington, Aaron Wall, Andy Beal, Jeremy “Shoemoney,” and Scott Allen. Sessions begin on Wednesday, November 7 and end November 9. The Exhibition Hall is open November 8 and 9.
The Benefits
I wrote early on in my blog about the importance of networking to me. If for no other reason, I’d like to check out BWE and see what the other bloggers, podcasters, media companies, and sponsors are up to. If I could meet some of them and network a bit in the real world, I think it would be a great opportunity for me, since my blog “experiment” has had some success, and I’m looking to learn more about the community and what it has to offer in the grand scheme of things.
Are any of you going to be at BWE? If so, I hope to see you there! I’ll most likely be hanging out with Prija at his booth, or bugging Nate over at his. 
Either way, I’ll be hanging out with Gary and probably getting into some trouble somewhere. This is going to be fun…

Las Vegas is my “happy place”. All those people just have fun all the time and there are no clocks in the entire city! I envy you Danielle. Have enough fun for all of us.
Unfortunately it`s a world away from reality here in Japan … guess we`ll hear all about it though and hope to see some photos too.
I’m not as far away but still too far to make the effort worthwhile!
yea traveling half way around the world, or over international borders is an issue… luckily i live a drive (or short flight) away…
I’m planning on going because I live in Las Vegas, so I have no excuse not to go! I haven’t met any bloggers in the real world yet, so that should be exciting. I’m not good at networking, so I will have to force myself to do it.

I’d love to go, but work is kind of in the way. That, and every time I step foot in the US of A, I seem to have a run of very bad luck.

I would so like to be there, but unfortunately I have school and work so I won’t be able to make it, plus I don’t quite have the money to get to Vegas and back. Maybe next year or the year after….
yes it is difficult since it’s completely during the week. i’m pretty sure this conference will be back next year…
@david – check the links to the site. there are different prices for just the exhibition, or for the speaker sessions, etc. it’s actually not as expensive as some of the other conferences i’ve been to.
It must be pretty expensive to get in. Is it free or do you have to pay a lot to go there?

I really wanted to attend, buy a drastic cut income has reduced our travel expense account so severly that we are unable to get to Vegas in Nov…hope you have an awesome time.

To answer your question David, it cost $99 at this point for a exhibit hall pass. That also gets you into the keynotes, and 3 sessions of your choice. The full access pass is $225 and includes our opening night party at the Hard Rock with free drinks and food.
